Raven Defense applies a policy driven compliance approach to enable cost-scalable cybersecurity solutions applicable to small businesses.  We pair our in-house software specifically developed to meet the rigorous compliance standards required by DFARS 252.204 and detailed in the NIST 800-171 with a suite of compliance products and ongoing services to enable small businesses to comply with the cybersecurity DFARs clause without breaking the bank.

Gap Assessment – We will work with you to evaluate your current system and policy gaps as well as conducting an overall risk assessment to help determine the optimal path forward for your business to comply with federal standards.

Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM) – With the initial data collected in the gap assessment in hand, our team will make recommendations to close the gap and achieve compliance on a timeframe and budget that makes sense for your company.

System Security Plan (SSP) – Using the information from the POAM, our team will create a compliant System Security Plan which details all aspects of your company’s approach to meet the requirements of NIST 800-171.

System Implementation – Our team will work with your staff and third parties as needed to implement all measures incorporated within the POAM and SSP for your IT assets.  Tailored policy documents and training are provided during the initial phase of implementation.

System Monitoring – Making use of a balance of industry standard and customized toolsets, our team can provide persistent monitoring, event logging, and reporting as required by the DoD CIO; leaving your team to focus on direct work.  As an alternative, we can hand the reigns over to your team for a completely in-house solution or meet in the middle with a tailored on and off premise solution.
